Hopping on the trend! This meme was made by the wonderful and I'll link the original meme in the bottom of the description! And honestly, this was so much fun to do! Up until now I really only had a drawn ref of Kopa, the rest were all base edits and screenshot edits. But I'm happy to have done these!

Uru: Uru was the heir to a large clan of lions to the north of the Pridelands simply known as the Mountain Clans. These lions lived in the mountains and only answered to her father, Choyo. However a great earthquake caused massive mudslides and rockfalls, making the stretch of mountains that they called home dangerous. Food sources scattered in the wind, and Choyo swallowed his pride and asked the neighboring Pridelands for help. A betrothal was made and the Mountain Clans were absorbed into the Pridelands, tripling the pride's size. Uru's scars are ceremonial as most heirs will receive three scars on their forehead and a fourth when they ascend to the throne. Uru never receives her fourth scar because even though she is queen, she is only a consort in the eyes of the clansmen.

Ahadi: Ahadi is the son of Mohatu and his mate Sanaa, and the only child out of the two to inherit his mother's golden coloring. His older siblings never made it past their first week of life, from either sickness or neglect on Sanaa's part, and so Ahadi is close to both of his parents as their "miracle" child. His betrothal to Uru was all a ploy from his mother to make sure their line only produced golden pelted children, so it came as a shock to everyone when Taka was born. However Choyo, who the boy took after in coloring, couldn't be more proud and offered to teach the boy in which Ahadi fully accepted.

Mheetu: Mheetu is Nala's younger brother and such a soft boy. They share the same father who is very very very very very VERY against settling down. He fled after Nala and then came back and charmed Sarafina again, this time promising to stay. But then after Mheetu came about their father left again and was never seen in the Pridelands. What a dirtbag!

Kopa: Kopa's design was made ages ago back when the big Kopa-stans were around. A lot of people were making Kopa gary-stus at the time and I wanted mine to be different. So seeing as genetics and "not being able to escape your past" plays a lot into my TLK AU, Kopa takes more after Scar, Mohatu, and Sarabi's father in his design. He ends up being a stubborn king in the pride that found him after he ran away and he fully devotes himself to their culture - even so much as exiling his own son for defying his orders. Kopa is flawed, but he isn't an evil guy, just someone who looks too much at traditions.

Afua: So, Afua is the last child of Scar in my AU, being born literally days before Simba comes back. His mother was one of the lionesses that, get this, Sarabi picked out for him to produce children for alliances with. The plan was being discussed to use Afua's litter (which consisted of him and a sister born an hour before him) to get in touch with the very recluse Agiza pride, but as Simba came back that plan faltered. Afua knows his father is Scar and he understands why Simba can't stand him from a very young age. It isn't until Afua risks his life to save Simba and gets almost fatally wounded that the two reconcile and continue on as, now that Simba knows the truth, brothers.

Kion: The decision to make Kion be Kovu and Kiara's first child wasn't a mistake. It was way back when we all thought TLG was going to just be a stupid kids show. But even as TLG grew and we all came to accept it, I figured since I was messing with canon so much in my AU let's just keep it the way it was. And thus, Kion is their eldest. Kovu never learns the truth of Kion's parentage and with Kion being the leader of the Lion Guard (and therefore unable to have children in this AU) there's no worries from Kiara about potentially disastrous bloodline mixing. Some days, Kiara even forgets that Kion is her son, just from how much time has passed.

And there you have it folks! There's two more challenges as well, and I have an idea for a 4th one to add on to the fun! I'll probably end up doing the other memes once my new tablet comes in.
