My dog passed away 11th April, 2013. Her cancer had spread to her lungs and she got very sick very quickly. She had to be put down. She was peaceful in her final moments and the whole family was there with her till the very end... I'm happy I was there with her, she didn't have to pass away alone.

I miss her a lot.

I'm thankful to have had her as a beloved family member for all these years. She brought enormous amount of happiness into my life. She was dear to very many people. I hope she knew that... I told her many times but I'm not sure if she understood. But maybe, even if she didn't understand my words, she felt it, the love we had (and still have) for her. I hope so.

This is a painting of her. I've been painting and drawing her because I was told that it might help me mourn and eventually get over the sadness.
