Description Hey everybody! It's me, the Total Drama meme maker. At least, that seems to be what I do mostly nowadays (for now, that is). Anyways, I haven't submitted many deviations for a while, so as a treat, I'm going to release both my Total Drama guys’ AND girls’ memes back to back! Of the two, I am doing the girls meme first (ladies first, right?). So, without further ado, let's see what the best (and worst) girls of Total Drama are!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

-Bridgette:

Out of all the girls on the show, Bridgette is certainly the nicest, most caring of them all (not to mention the prettiest ). She's learned to be friendly to everybody else on the show, and is a cool competitor in her own right in many regards. Also, her relationship with Geoff is one of the most majestic and compelling in the series (and one of the few to never break up). I even swear that she sort of has no real enemies (she's even friends with Courtney, whom many people are not). Unfortunately, Bridgette suffers from a severe case of "Bad Writing Syndrome" (BWS, if you will) where the writers take awesome characters like her and make them have less participation and/or less positive development. The thing that really gets to me, though, is that she was shortchanged in both TDA and TDWT, leading to her limited participation in the actual game during this timeframe. My theory is that they did that for the purpose of her hosting the Aftermath Show, but that really didn't require Bridgette’s presence (Geoff could've done that solo, though he also deserved to return, too). Another thing that bothers me is that Bridgette is seemingly made fun of by the writers for being nice, and they seem to make her look like a weakling. In reality, however, kindness isn’t a weakness; it’s a virtue that’s great to have, and is unfortunately not common enough in our world. One of the biggest faults of the series is idolizing jerks and bullies (*cough* Lightning *cough) while putting down people who actually have good values. Aside from that, however, Bridgette is an awesome character that simply needs a refresher in the series. If her level of participation could somehow return to TDI highs (or higher) then I would truly be happy with her.

-Eva:

This girl is quite the powerhouse, and that’s one hell of an understatement. Eva is certainly different from the other girls in the series; instead of being real skinny and cutesy (which aren’t bad characteristics, mind you), she’s muscular in stature, is not the most liked player, and probably needs to take her meds to ensure the common safety of other people . She’s also been denied an unacceptably large amount of adequate development, which sucks because she has so much potential to grow as a character. She’s only been in only four episodes as a competitor, and although her appearances in side episodes are cool, they simply are not enough. Was more than one season really two much for this girl? Okay, back to Eva. I could easily see her being a strong player if she was given an opportunity to play the game again, and possibly become more likeable among the rest of the cast. She seems like a much deeper player than she may appear, and may simply have anger issues that are traced back from a childhood event. In addition, Eva is simply a badass. Why? Despite her being underrated, the episodes where she can shine (such as the TDI special) show that she has tons of game, and is not entirely a pure rageaholic that’s incapable of making friends. Some say she’s one-dimensional, but there are several less developed characters than Eva (*cough* Lightning *cough*), and that’s saying something. Nonetheless, Eva deserves to return and become a more successful individual, not only in the game but also in scope; something like that may completely relinquish my trust in the series.

-Dakota:

As one of the most unexpectedly likeable characters in the series, Dakota sure has a lot going for her. Many people thought she’d be the biggest bitch since Heather, but she’s actually a deep character with feelings and, well, depth. Early in season four she was somewhat unaware of the real world’s rules and often did very things (see what I did there?). However, she quickly learned from her mistakes, and figured out that there was somebody in the game who truly cared about her as a person (Sam) . In short, she’s beautiful and is a great person. It goes to show that looks are not all that matter (don’t let the media fool you, eggheads!). Now about her mutation, I do have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, it limits her ability to compete in another season if she stays that way. However, it also got Samkota off the runway, and “Dakotazoid” is kind of cooler now that I’ve given it time to sink in. Plus, this video is just really cute [link] . Therefore, I find Dakota to be the best girl from Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, and I’m hoping that we can see more of her later in ample amounts.

-Dawn:

Is there really that much that needs to be said about Dawn? She’s cute, kind, and has amazing supernatural powers that make her all the more mysterious and badass . Also, I do NOT think she is overrated, which some say she is. Sure, the hype for Dawn was larger than her actual participation on the show, but that does not mean she was overrated. It simply means the writers miscalculated her popularity among the fans. It would be great to learn more about her; one of season four’s faults was denying Dawn ample screentime, and having the other characters perceive her as ‘creepy’ or a freak. Poor Dawn needs some more loving, and needs a loving male partner that ISN’T Scott to complement her. Despite Dawn being charming, the show needs to let her grow some more, and make her even more awesome than she already is. Godspeed, Dawn, and I wish you the best.

-LeShawna:

I honestly find LeShawna to be extremely underrated. For some reason, people ignore her when talking about some of the best characters in the series. She placed 5th in TDI for crying out loud! Out of the final five of TDI, she has received the least attention from fans of the series. I think what I like most about her is that she takes no crap from anybody. Whenever she gave Heather, Duncan, or even Justin a beating it just put a huge smile on my face. She’s got all the spunk and edge that allows her to stand up to her enemies and make even the most despicable players cower in fear. I personally disliked the plot point in TDA where LeShawna’s team made her out to be an evil witch for one simple incident! Even the worst characters in the series are forgiven FAR more quickly for doing things even worse than that! Also, TDWT made her look too stupid to catch on to Alejandro’s manipulation , and that angered me as well. I prefer her edgy TDI version, by far. Despite the drawbacks to some of her character development, LeShawna is certainly a respectable character and definitely needs to do well in her next season. Seeing her be a finalist would be great, but as long as she makes the merge next time I’ll be fine with the next season.

-Izzy:

Despite being the most insane character ever, Izzy is still very enjoyable to watch, and never fails to make me laugh. She also has this weird charm that makes her strangely…hot. Is that just me? Whatever. I also love how she can just kick anybody’s ass if they mess with her. The seasonal Chef vs. Izzy seems to do the trick . It seems, however, that after TDI (where Izzy did quite well) the writers make her do a so-so job in every season, which bothers me because they don’t want to really utilize her that much. Also, it seemed cruel that they broke her and Owen up- was TDWT just so desperate for drama that it forced these break-ups? Despite this misfortune, Izzy remains persistent in the series as one of the most entertaining characters . Hopefully her and Noah can become closer next time, too (yes, I support Nizzy). All in all, the hot and crazy thing called Izzy can hopefully do better in her next season, and become a main character once again.

-Gwen:

I always love a strong, independent female character. Gwen certainly is the cream of the crop in this sense, so to speak. In TDI, this chick was AWESOME. Although she appeared to be a simple, typical Goth, her relationships with the other characters showed she was far more than that. She always dealt with trouble the right way, and was effective in winning challenges and making friends with almost everyone in the game. Her relationship with Trent was one of the best things to ever happen to the series, because it had the best chemistry of any couple at that time. She also made an amazing winner, although Owen was an okay one, too. Unfortunately, in both TDA and TDWT, she received a lot of harsh treatment from fellow competitors and fans alike . It just sucks because Gwen is awesome but a lot of people hate her for the whole love triangle, and it wasn’t her fault at all. It’s like Gwen is the new punching bag for the writers (I know people have made this analogy before, but I just couldn’t ignore this fact). I’ve even seen pictures like this [link] that are just f***ing disturbing! Dudes, it’s a CARTOON! I seriously think people who make these are very messed up (for those who can’t view it due to a mature rating, let me just say it has some Gwen vs. Courtney in it). Nonetheless, Gwen has simply been in hard times recently, but she’s still a very cool character. I’d love to see her get out of her thing with Duncan , since they have NO chemistry in my opinion. Hopefully we can return to a golden era of Gwen someday.

-Zoey:

Zoey is certainly a polarizing character- you either love her or hate her, it seems. As most people would assume, she’s quite a sweetheart. Unfortunately, some fans don’t seem to “dig” that very much. I never understood that at first, but then I realized that some fans only like the muscular, egotistic, or evil jerks in the series (*cough* Lightning *cough*) . That seems to be the comparison for other character like Zoey. You see, Zoey is no Lightning when it comes to development in character. I can see why she might sometimes not do much, because she’s with Mike and stuff. However, that’s NOT a sign that she’s a satellite character because lots of characters do things like that based on how they interact with other people, such as Gwen and Trent. In that example, Gwen isn’t a “satellite” character- she just hangs out with Trent a lot in TDI. Most development occurs from the interaction with others, and not just by being alone. Aside from hater criticisms, however, Zoey is simply a lonely girl who wants to have people in her life she can have fun with. Is there anything wrong with that, folks? I hope your answer is no.

-Anne Maria:

What a chick! Going into season four, Anne Maria definitely stood out in many ways. She was probably the wildest looking female of the bunch (she really is beautiful, though), and had quite a style of tawkin’. I do often hear of people hating Anne Maria, even though she has fans, too. Okay, let’s disregard the love triangle right now. I’d say that even though she could be mean at times, Anne Maria was often very funny and had humorous one-liners in many of the episodes she appeared in. I do find it to be stupid how the writers had her quit, because if she’d made it further, who knows what could’ve happened ? Seeing Anne Maria in the final four would have been cool, in my opinion. Although what’s done has been done, I would love for her to do better next time, and possibly have a bigger role, like being the anti-hero or something cool of the sort.

-Lindsay:

One thing I love about Lindsay is that she is a seemingly shallow stereotype, a dumb blonde, but she is so well developed that that isn’t all she actually is. Sure, she may say nonexistent words, be somewhat oblivious to stuff, and occasionally forget who Tyler is. However, those things make her funny, and they’re not overused, either. Lindsay also knows when there’s trouble, and she is able to stick up for herself and others, like against Courtney in “Get A Clue!”. She can even use her noggin if need be! In fact, her presence was what kept me watching TDA even when it got bad. The only thing about her is that she’s never eliminated fairly, and it always gets me because all the causes of them were entirely avoidable! For fans that know how all of her eliminations went down, you know what I mean. Her relationship with Tyler is quite unique because for one, they were the first couple to ever officially form in the series (they also were the first kiss, if you disregard the “NoCo” one). Also, they’re one of the few that stayed intact all through each season. It’s a very beautiful and strong connection they have. Both are somewhat airheads, but them being together works anyways. I’d love to see Lindsay shine again like in TDI and TDA (TDWT did her no justice), although her cameo in TDRI was cool. In short, Lindsay is one of the rare characters that have managed to go above and beyond her stereotype, which makes for a much better character than someone who stays in theirs (*cough* Lightning *cough*).

-Jo:

Now, of all these girls Jo is probably the most confusing to me. She’s a bit of a wild card, to be precise. I’ve mentioned before that I usually either dislike her or really like her. Although she has a cool design and can be funny, she exhibits few positive values. She barely changes personality-wise during season four, and shows very bad sportsman skills towards others. Also, she can sometimes be a bitch to some of her teammates for no reason at all (“Do you want to play NICE, or do you want to win?). Another thing: who else thought her and Brick would become a couple? That was quite a cocktease, at least in retrospect. She actually never did much after episode six to change up the game (that was when she switched to the Rats), which frustrated me because she could’ve done WAY better in many aspects. Maybe the following equation (Maggot -> Rat = Lame) is true for Jo. Okay, that’s not entirely true. Despite her being a Sue Sylvester during most of the season, she’s still enjoyable to watch most of the time, and despite her flaws, she is far more watchable than many other characters in the series (*cough* Lightning *cough*). Hopefully she can redeem herself in the next season, tell us some of her past, and become a softie. Finally, Brick and Jo as a couple would be WIN. Who else agrees with me?

-Courtney:

I do not have anything against Courtney. In fact, I kind of like her. Courtney is obviously designed based off a high maintenance girl stereotype that gets on other contestants nerves easily. However, despite that she’s very funny, cute, and somewhat relatable to. Unfortunately, on the show she’s had many ups and downs. My theory is that she was affected by the events of season one, where she was unfairly eliminated. Thus, her behavior changed under the belief that you must use harsh power to achieve things. Harold had a right to get rid of her, but that’s likely where it began. Also, she was no doubt hurt badly in TDWT. Being cheated on hurts. I don’t know what it feels like yet, but no other character in the series had felt that before. Understandably, she began to behave irrationally and exert much hate towards other people. Basically, a “good girl” that went off the deep end. For some reason, though, she now is hated by people in the show and by fans of it. She actually receives far too much hate from fans, which is f***ed up because she’s only a cartoon who isn’t perfect. Sure, some characters are sometimes meant to be somewhat disliked, but some people hate her like enough to kill her! Some artists even draw pictures of her being killed! Guys, she’s a VICTIM of a terrible act, not a villain! Duncan hurt her bad, and people don’t seem to acknowledge that enough. I have never seen such a hated character in the history of shows, cartoons, or anything of the sort. You know, it’s pretty much the equivalent of calling a girl on the Internet a whore, and the having people torment them so much they kill themselves. Yikes! That was an extreme example there, folks. Sorry. However, I want people who bash Courtney to think about that. Why do people give her such a hard time? Okay, I know the answer. I have no preference between Gwen and Courtney, and I do not have any strong tie to either side of the DxC vs. DxG war. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, too. However, I want to give people a wake-up call on this. I hated it when the TDWT stuff happened, but just calm down. Be optimistic. I love to think it shouldn’t have happened, but lower the levels of hate, will you? Don’t lay it on so thick, that is. It’s not worth it. I like Courtney, and I hope she can eventually show that she’s better than what most people perceive her to be.

-Beth:

Beth is one of those underrated characters in the series that, for some reason, is ignored by the fan base ( did make a good point about that). She’s actually great, and shows that socially awkward people really are given a hard time. After being abused by Heather in TDI, and being eliminated sooner than later, she made a full-fledged return to TDA. It’s too bad that she was on a terrible team, the Grips (ugh, that’s even an awful name). However, her character grew here, and she eventually made the final two. I honestly think she deserved the win more than Duncan. Why? Well, Duncan was just an asshole the entire season, while Beth was nice, helpful, and actually kind of funny (Duncan wasn’t funny in the least). After that, she hasn’t competed since, but I liked her as a contestant, to be honest. It’s too bad that most fans have forgotten about her at this point, since she’s actually one of the better characters of the series that has a heart of gold. Like I said before, most fans like the muscle-bound jerks (*cough* Lightning *cough*) better for some reason. There isn’t much else to say that covers Beth, and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. She was used as a great representation of an awkward girl making friends and making it far in a competitive game. Also, her standing up to Heather actually encouraged me to stand up to one of my bullies when I was younger. That in itself was a good lesson, and unfortunately this show does not have much of that going on in it. Beth deserves more attention and I hope that she will somehow get the appreciation she deserves.

-Heather:

I’m sure everyone knows all about what makes Heather herself. I, like most people, hated her in TDI, but slowly warmed up to her somewhat leading into TDWT. Yes, she’s definitely no Satan (*cough* like Lightning *cough*), but I don’t find her to be the greatest character, either. For one, she’s quite overused in the series. She has the highest participation of any contestant ever, and has always placed in at least the top eight. That alone makes her a big name in the series. Although she can be funny in the later seasons, her cutthroat attitude is a bit of a turn-off (not literally, mind you). Additionally, she’s not very rootable for. Although I much preferred her ending to Alejandro’s, I don’t really find her ending to be satisfying that much. It just felt wrong, if you can understand where I’m coming from. I also dislike the subliminal message that characters like Heather can do well in stuff like reality shows (now, I’m hoping she isn’t anyone’s role model!). I doubt in any real life reality shows that people are as easily convincible and/or gullible as the teens in this show were when Heather tricked them. That aside, however, Heather is overall okay to me. She’s a good character, but I don’t have that obsession with her that some seem to have. I guess all that needs to happen is for Heather to be toned down next season, and I’ll be good for then.

-Katie:

Now, so you’re likely wondering why I’m putting Katie over Sadie like so many people do. It has nothing to do with weight or which is prettier than the other; I really mean it, too. Both are pretty much the same, and are very one-dimensional characters. The writers have put no effort into these two, and it seems like it will probably stay that way. The thing is that Katie seems like somebody with more development potential to me. For example, there’s an idea that’s been explored by some fanfictions: Katie being a villain. It just sort of seems to makes sense. Why? Well, her stereotype on Total Drama Wiki is “The Nice Girl”. Now, if Katie could somehow be broken out of that, then she’d be certainly changed and interesting (more so than she is, anyways). It would show that through some event, she could break free of her stereotype and do something to add to the drama of the show. Why not Sadie? She doesn’t quite seem like one who’d become an antagonist suddenly, or anything. I just can’t envision it as well. I hope something like this can happen, although I wont give up my hopes. For now, Katie is just sort of a sideliner, along with her BFFL, Sadie. They need a chance to shine, I say!

-Staci:

Despite being obviously designed for a first boot (that nobody was supposed to care about), Staci isn’t that bad, even though she’s not very good either. I wish her lies hadn’t been just about her relatives; seeing more complex ones would have been awesome. Now, I wish people would make more fanfictions of this girl because oftentimes they go into personal details of characters that the show itself doesn’t have time to do. Knowing more about Staci would be great, but if my senses are correct, that wont be easy to figure out with what we were given. We all know Staci isn’t very bright, and she sure is annoying sometimes, but at least she’s more watchable than some characters (*cough* Lightning *cough*). Overall, Staci’s no keeper, but it would be cool if they did something clever with her later. Good luck, Staci, and don’t piss people off too much!

-Sadie:

Okay, so I just want everybody to know right now that I do not hate Sadie. I really don’t. I also don’t dislike her because she’s heavier than Katie- liking characters based on their weight is stupid to me. So, why is she this low, then? Well, it has less to do with what she is than what she isn’t. Sadie and Katie are pretty much synonymous, and are completely alike and somewhat limited to their stereotypes. In TDI, Sadie wasn’t used much at all, despite lasting a good eleven episodes (five more than Katie) . After Katie was eliminated fifth, Sadie wasn’t used very much in the game by the writers (except in Phobia Factor, which was a great episode). She was just sort of, well, there until her elimination. Although I do not dislike Sadie in the slightest, I don’t think she has much potential to grow since it seems like the writers won’t utilize her. I’d really like it if she was, but seeing where the series is going, that doesn’t seem likely to happen. That said, there isn’t much to be said about Sadie due to limitations of development. I hope she can somehow be dug out of her position. Until then, she’s a so-so.

-Sierra:

Okay, this girl freaks me OUT. First of all, she seems to have been created simply for the purpose of being Cody’s mega-stalker-fangirl…thing. That there is a satellite character, no questions (At least Zoey doesn’t do that to Mike, right? Just imagine…). The way she talks about every last detail is super frightening; that music that plays whenever she’s onscreen exactly describes how I think of her (hint: creeped out)! What makes it worse is that she’s not capable of doing anything else at all! If she isn’t fawning over Cody (who will always friend-zone her ass, trust me) she’s doing something else that’s just so creepy and inappropriate. This video is a perfect example of her demeanor [link] though you can see many more WTF moments by watching TDWT, the reason being there are so many. This seems to be her only trait, and it unfortunately gets stale very quickly. I mean, would you like it if somebody you hadn’t met before knew your dental records? Yeah, I didn’t think so!

-Blaineley:

Probably the biggest WTF contestant ever, this woman’s presence on the show was absolutely pointless. Why? First of all, she isn’t even that developed, and was purely designed to be a mini-antagonist on the Aftermath Show. Therefore, bringing her onto the actual show, instead of somebody that had relevance, was a HUGE mistake on the writers’ part. Bringing back Noah, or even Beth (who was supposed to go) would have been way more compelling. Unfortunately, they just had to put her in the game. She was just eliminated in the next episode anyways, so what was even the point? Was it to have that illegal alliance with Chef? Wow, SO original (seriously, DJ in TDA much, anyone?). In short, she had no purpose being on the actual show, and added to the many faults of World Tour, which showed that the writers must have been on crack or something since “I See London”. Hopefully she is never seen again, and I’m glad she was handicapped for the rest of her life or whatever happened to her.

Credit goes to for making this meme.

I agree with you with the #1 girl. Bridgette is absolutely the BEST Total Drama Girl and Total Drama Character overall. She had very good start in TD Series. She made everyone cherish and respect her due to her magnetic and benevolent personality. Her surfing skills, Her astonishing natural beauty, awesome voice and nice personality are her biggest adventages. Sadly She is kinda underrated character by TD creators. In my opinion Bridgette needs more screentime and attention. I really like most of TD Girls but this Surfer Chick is my fav one

Courtney wasn't meant to be what she was after TDI. It was because of Cartoon Network and Teletoon wanting the dreaded love triangle. Thus, character derailment ensued for her, Trent and so on. It's such a shame...

It irks me that people pair her up with an asshole like Scott. Scott finds Dawn's powers to be creepy. Plus, when he engineered Dawn's elimination, it killed all chances of Dott ever happening. And no, people don't frame their crush and get them eliminated from a contest just to cover their feelings, especially if they were the masterminds behind other contestants' eliminations. Even people like Dawn can hold grudges against people who wrong them the same way Scott has wronged Dawn, along with B, Mike and Zoey. And if Scott was sound to Dawn offscreen, that would be a complete 180 degree from what he's done onscreen.

Change may be inevitable in real life, but in cartoons, which rarely last for longer than ten years, a character may have very little character development. Besides, Scott's injuries may turn him into a psychopath, and if not, he might still be a tool who's now bent on getting back on everyone who used to be on the same season as him. Keeping in mind that Dawn can read other people's auras, Scott will have a very difficult time manipulating her, which his why he got her eliminated early on in the season. Scott may feel guilty for his past crimes, and he might beg the other TDROTI characters - especially B, Dawn, Mike and Zoey - for forgiveness. But that doesn't guarantee that he will be open to having a relationship with one of his former enemies, assuming he does change for the better. And Scott will have a very hard time reconciling with his enemies. Knowing him, he' most likely be trying to get back at Mike and Zoey.

Besides this, Scott mercilessly beats kitchen rats with a baseball bat. I'm sure Dawn would love that. Note the sarcasm. That's why I oppose Dott. I hope the writers don't make Dott a reality just because the fans want it, becasue I'm sure they weren't planning on that pairing after the way the two have interacted in TDROTI. I know the writers are known for their poor planning, but I'm sure they've learned their lesson from the controversey that followed the love triangle in TDWT. Let's hope they've learned their lesson. I want All Stars to be a kickass season.

By the way, when Dawn said it was cute that Scott was a beetle-whisper (or something along those lines because I've only watched that episode once), it was purely out of admiration. Admiration is so common we hardly think about it while we're doing it. Dawn didn't say that Scott's beetle-whispering was a turn-on. And what happened after that? Scott was mean to her, called her weird, framed her for stealing, almost got Jo and Anne Maria to hurt her, deceived her with a fake idol, and sadistically watched her get thrown off the island in her own garbage bag, all without showing ANY sympathy whatsoever.

Wow....you're right about all that. 0_0

I never was a fan of Dott AT ALL, but this reasoning further solidifies my opinion of it. Which is that it's not good.

I can't even watch the last few episodes of Revenge because they're just filled to the brim with Lightning's non-funny bull****. I loved him in the first episode....then he got old REAL fast.
Why did they have to make him go to the finale!? He's a one episode kind of character. A whole season of him!? What were they thinking?

Dang, sorry it took me this long to get around to doing this But you asked for my commentary, so here it is

I agree with you, Bridgette is one of my absolute favorites on the show too; I just can't get over how lovable she is Bridgette is definitely an underrated character, she gets along well with virtually everybody, she's open-minded and level-headed, and all-around a great friend Who wouldn't want to be friends with her? True, she's had her slips where she said some unflattering things to people, but this is extremely rare. I do think it's extremely unfair that she hasn't been given the room to shine and since the end of TDI has been relegated to a sideline show host. Maybe you can get away with that once but when it becomes something of a permanent deal and leaves virtually no room for character development, that's where it gets truly pathetic. Bridgette is way too good to be merely a show host, and yet she's gotten the shaft more times than she deserves. This is a character with a ton of potential, Bridgette deserves a second chance to prove she can be a winner! I hope next season she will get the screentime she's been so badly shortchanged on and that they will give her character room to blossom once more.

Bridge, love you, babe! And when you return, bring Geoff with you, he's awesome!

I COMPLETELY and TOTALLY agree with you on Eva. This is a character with immense, untapped potential. Eva is not a rag, people; get the girl in there and let her play the game!!!!!

If Eva is not allowed to compete in Season Five, somebody on the writing staff really is going to get pounded, mark my words.

Dakota was definitely an unexpected bonus to the show and really breathed new life into it. I didn't think I'd like her, but now I ADORE her. She's a surprisingly sympathetic character with a lot of heart and for the most part is well-intentioned. Her relationship with Sam is priceless, and her stint as Dakotazoid kicked some serious ass I do hope she'll return to her normal self, but all-in-all, Dakota was one of the best things about TDROTI.

Dawn definitely is not overrated, there's plenty of good reasons why this character is so popular. Dawn might at times be odd, but she's a very comforting presence and a well-meaning friend. She's loyal to her friends and despite the odds stacked against her, is very much a determined player. I deeply regret her elimination at Scott's hands, that was by far the worst upset of the season. Why people pair her up with that jerkass, I have no idea, that's the kind of crap Twilight fans promote. Personally, I can't blame her if she laughed at his ultimate fate in the finale XD He sure as hell didn't earn her sympathy. And I do hope she returns in full force in Season Five, such an immensely popular character with so much potential, it would be a crime to waste her. May Dawn have a second chance at the winner's circle, so we can all embrace her as we have always wanted to.

Yeah, LeShawna has really been sort of a punching bag among fans lately. (Much like her best pal Gwen, sadly ) I'm ashamed to say I haven't given her enough attention, and I am deeply resentful that people make her out to look bad when really, her faults are few. This character is AWESOME, and is not as naive as she was portrayed in TDWT, which I must remind everyone again......was a WRETCHED season. >_< I for the most part have enjoyed LeShawna's screentime, but really, it is insulting that fans view her so negatively. She's hotheaded, but she's a very straightforward player and a loyal friend, and certainly not stupid! LeShawna deserves far better acknowledgement than what she's gotten lately.

LOL yes, Izzy's hilarious And the idea of her and Noah together does have potential

Gwen.....hands down, one of the coolest Goth characters ever put to the screen This girl is all-around badass and really has what it takes to win. And she's just awesome in every category. She deserves far better than she's received since TDA and her pairing with Duncan is appallingly tasteless. She deserves better than Duncan, and she deserves more respect as a person and a player. The next season must not waste the opportunity to repair her reputation and erase the damage TDWT did to her character. Gwen is not a boyfriend stealer, and if any of the screenwriters see this.....She's NOT your personal punching bag! Allow Gwen to shine once more, and for God's sakes, bring her back together with Trent! Gwen deserves SO much better.

Yeah, screw what the haters say, Zoey is AWESOME And anyone who dares to say that she's devoid of character, I dare them to find anyone more undeveloped and infinitely less interesting than Lightning.

Zoey pretty much kicks that jocktard to Mars when it comes to character development. Anyone who disagrees with me.....Kiss it

I didn't really like Anne Maria's attitude at times, but when she wasn't being possessive of "Vito", she was funny enough She was fun to watch, her accent was sexy, and she really stood out among the characters. I'm really surprised she didn't last longer, of all the characters in the cast, Anne Maria arguably stood out the most. I think more can be done with her character given the chance.

I think Lindsay is kind of overrated personally, but that does not mean I hate her In fact, usually I do enjoy her She has some really funny lines and when she wants to be badass, she can be really badass She was a lot of fun to watch and I do see why people like her. I think they probably use her a tad too much, but otherwise I hold nothing against her. She's a great character overall Not to mention hot to no end

Yeah, Jo's definitely a love or hate sort of character. Hopefully next time she shows she'll lighten up a little. Would be nice to see her getting sweet with Brick

Yeah, a lot of the hate towards Courtney is definitely misplaced. Her aggression in TDWT was the result of Duncan's actions, and likely would not have happened if he did not completely destroy her heart. I think deep down she's a good character, her TDI self is still in there somewhere Duncan's just been an extremely bad influence on her. Again, I hope she experiences some sort of redemption. She's a better person than a lot realize. Hell, if she can start seeing the faults of her own behavior, then I'm sure that good in her will be brought out again

Yeah, Grips is a terrible team name, isn't it?

Beth is way underrated, I don't know why so many people don't like her. In my opinion, she was one of the best things in TDA And if it weren't for Beth, I probably would've given up on that season too.

Heather......definitely not my favorite, but she is pretty badass a lot of the time, and is slightly less of a pain in the ass than she used to be. I guess I sort of like her a little bit

Katie and Sadie........Well, if they come back next season, I'll be expecting more from them than they have already given. They're nice enough girls, but enough of the scenes of them fawning to Trent. If these two stick around, I say use them properly. They're just okay for me, not really personal favorites.

Not much of a Staci fan either, but she was more interesting than Lightning, I'll give her that

Sierra..........Proof positive that obsessive fangirls are a danger to themselves and others. This girl is friggin' CREEPY. And she is annoying to no goddamn end; all she is is Cody This, Cody That, always after Cody's toothbrush, Cody's undershirts, Cody's shavers, Cody's sweatsocks, Cody's half-eaten veggie burger, Cody's butt......Anything Cody and she goes completely INSANE! She harasses him to no end, is entirely possessive over him, scares him half to death, bites the hand on anyone who interacts with him, treats Gwen like trash when it's COMPLETELY unprovoked.....Sierra is not only mentally unstable, but she's also selfish to no end I would not want someone that loud and obnoxious in my group for fear she'd constantly violate the privacy of myself and others, she is just the worst kind of annoyance possible, and a poster child for everything wrong with purely obsessive fangirls who just don't know when to quit I hope World Tour was her last run on this show, because I do not miss this character very much at all. I'm just sorry Cody's still getting suffocated by her. Sierra is a one-joke character with zero character development and way too few redeeming qualities for me to give a damn about her.....let's move on.

Uggh, Blaineley did nothing for me. She contributed so little to the show, was a one-joke character, and none of her actions served any purpose to the plot. Like you said, we could've brought back anyone instead of her, hell we could've brought back Bridgette! >_< But no, they waste that golden opportunity on this broad, who's not all that funny and not all that engaging. Sure, I love Geoff's song about her (Let's be fair, she deserved it ), but aside from that, I didn't like anything about this character. She was just unnecessary to the show. Maybe if she were merely host next to that Josh character, she would've been okay.....Hell, have them talk and let Bridgette and Geoff compete! That would've been a great setup! But who in hell honestly believed that Blaineley was gonna add anything to this quagmire? She was needlessly cruel for no real purpose except being a bitch, her time in the game was unjustifiable short and flat-out stupid.......this was a one-joke character who wore out her welcome really, really fast.

I don't miss Blaineley all that much, I just don't know why she was here to begin with. She was a totally forgettable contestant overall.

All-in-all, I think you and I think alike on the majority of these Great taste in characters, and great to see someone who recognizes the flaws in the show

Hey, man! I'm glad you came around to evaluate these. I wasn't necessarily expecting you to, but thanks for doing so!

Yeah, we do think alike on MANY of these.

Bridgette is a sweetheart who is really made fun of for the wrong reasons. If there was one character I could pick as a role model for all the people on the show, it'd be her. She's just so nice, caring, and beautiful. Geoff really is a lucky guy. Now, you're right about her not being perfect, but that's true for everyone- they all make mistakes no matter what. I just don't think she deserves the "Ezekiel Treatment" by being an early boot frequently. That gets old, and seeing assholes in her place makes really my blood boil. Regardless, she has much potential for a far-reaching gameplay. Now, she actually IS served justice in fanfics like Total Drama Returns by the Cheesebub (it updated the other day, so I recommend checking that out).

Eva probably will get redemption, since she has a good potential for being setup for a fresh twist (casual fans would forget who she was). Now, if she played again she'd likely be on the dominant team due to her strength. Maybe she can earn some friends, too.

I love Dakota because she showed us what a character we should care about is like. I actually felt terrible whenever she would get hurt or abused by Chris. I wish she'd made it further than she did (it's bullshit when a character is eliminated right after returning). I hope she can return...as a human! Nothing wrong with Dakotazoid, but I think it'd be hard for her to compete again that way.

Dawn is beautiful AND respectable. She is a role model for her gender, and should be given the respect she deserves. Lightning is a stupid fuck for calling her names. Anyways, her charm needs more presence on another season.

LeShawna sure has an attitude, but a great one at that. I'm hoping for a reunion of all the strong friendships she formed in TDI. I also don't mind her and Harold, either.

Izzy IS hilarious! I do like Nizzy, yeah. I would also like for her to show others her less insane side- like a secret insecure girl inside of her who cries out for love. That's what I see in her, anyways.

Gwen doesn't need any explanation. She's awesome in every way. Hopefully all the drama around her can settle down soon, but we'll see soon enough. She's a strong woman who should be acknowledged for her status.

Zoey is WIN. Stupid Lightning is stupid, but unfortunately the writers were unable to see that they'd made a mistake in having him outlast her. If Zoey returns, I'd like to see her interact with the old cast.

Yeah, I'll admit that Anne Maria can be a bitch. Hands down. However, she did stand out a lot, is kind of funny, and is also kind of sexy, too. Her voice is awesome- I fell in love with it right away. Now, she had no business with Zoke, but she's otherwise respectable. I really wanted her to make the merge, though...stupid "diamond", making her quit.

Lindsay has a very solid fanbase, so you're right that she does have a lot of attention. I honestly would never get tired of her, though she IS in the show a lot. I swear even Chris has a thing for her, which is creepy, but that shows how hot she is. Well done character, in my opinion.

Jo...get your act together. I like you, but you need to try harder than you already are. Stay away from those meaty jock-heads, and give a certain jarhead the attention he deserves from you. Then, you can "win" something good for yourself. Heed these words!

I really want to give Courtney a big hug. Most people would take advantage of her state (Al, Duncan, Heather) but I wouldn't. Courtney just needs to cool off and get some support from good people like Bridgette who don't want to play her. Maybe she can sort things out and move on. That's what would be great for the show- solving this serious issue.

Beth is good, and if hey choose to keep her low-key I won't mind. I just hate it when fans never give her credit for ANYTHING. They just remember the "annoying" stuff (Brady talk and whatnot). Also, Beth is NOT ugly. ay00brix3 said that, and nothing against her, but that is NOT true. Beth is great and far better looking than some other charcaters like...perhaps Scott- what a dirty piece of shit he is.

Heather can be described as a socially cutthroat girl. She has female bully traits, but usually never crosses the line TOO far. Well, usually (she has before). Now, she is a bit overrated so I hope that she is downplayed later a bit.

The twins are so underdeveloped that I wonder if people remember that they ever competed. Well...let's hope they're put to good use.

Staci is a bit bland, but she IS better than Sha-Moron. I pity her, though...I hope the others don't reject her completely.

Sierra is far too creepy. You're right about her being a danger to people and herself. She invades others' privacy, and sometimes hates others for literally no reason. I don't know why she wanted to vote off Gwen (which she did) and then she suddenly wants Courtney out- who she JUST HELPED! Confusing much? She is a huge hypocrite, too. (Remember her line, "It's TOTALLY CLEEAN! Wow, obsess much?") Anyways, she needs to not get shoved in our faces ever again.

Blaineley. Blaineley. Blaineley Blaineley Blaineley. That is a TERRIBLE name. She's also very boring and awful. Ironic how my favorite and least favorite girls hate each other? If she'd stayed a host, that would have been one thing. But then they have to bring her onto the show for MORE incessant rambling about what she always wants. She sucks big time, and I never want to see her ever again.

Well, we both can spot this show's flaws quite well, huh? It's a good series that unfortunately has a lot of bullshit. Usually we can ignore it, though (except the big stuff).
