Well in the series. (Or as far as i got.) Konata won't shut up about this Comic-cat thing, which i think is a japanese comic-con. So people dress up as comic book (or in her case manga.) Characters. The problem is, I didn't know about vocaloid manga at the time. It does exist...and is not at all appropriate for children...
