Well..... I'm not too sure it will be an improvement... a paper cut decided that I would be adding color to this one ... I think I will prefer the monotone... but rather than retreat .... I am pushing forward....... with mixed results. I will post it, but I'm not too sure about it .... well it was a fun path I guess...... 
i could use the accident as a selling point .... drawn with blood on Halloween night

the blood of the artist, eh..   I still prefer the b/w version, but that's just personal Geschmacksache, you know me...  don't take it as criticism of your painting please  just extra appreciation of this ink one.  It's like preferring chamber music to full orchestra (which I do);  there's a purity or something, or you can perceive the underlying structure better... whatever.  They're both awesome lol

Me too... even if I end up ok with it ... I still don't get color..... it seems too complicated somehow ..... It is almost like static adding distraction rather than clarity. ...... and I work with it in a different way than I use line, so sometimes using it is like an annoying balancing act... I am never quite satisfied. 
I see you have some new stuff up... they look great, I will be back to comment in a more specific way, but it might take me a bit........

no hurry, I always look forward to your insightful comments, but I have my doubts whether I deserve your attention  ....  anyway, yes, colour can be a bit noisy and distracting..  especially when applied to an existing b/w work as in this case.  It hides the wonderful intricacy of your textures somewhat.  But, like I said, that's purely my personal opinion and probably "coloured" by the fact that I'm a b/w man myself  (lol)
