Description Once upon a time, I was some dumb kid in high school (Shocking, right?). While browsing a local (overpriced) comic book shop I stumbled across Oz: The Manga, by David Hutchison. Nothing else in the store really interested me so I bought it... well sweet Mother Teresa on the hood of a Mercedes-Benz was it worth it!
Aside from being a damn good interpritation of The Wizard of Oz, it also was the catalyst which led me to creating Galazy of Oz. Despite it being on the back-burner while I work on Postcards from Shasa, which is arguably going to be easier to finish and with the schedules for upcoming missions which will undoubtably gain more public attention towards spaceflight, it would be suicide not to try and ride that boom in interest.
Even with Galaxy of Oz on a temporary hold, I couldn't pass up an opportunity when I saw it; David Hutchison mentioning he does commissions~

So, pictured above is Dorothy Gale, captain of the Yellow Brick Road. And her genesis, Dorothy Gale of Kansas. Painted by the man I'll always blame for causing most of my brain to be full of a 7000 lightyear-diameter galaxy full of sci-fi versions of 1900-1920 characters and locations. YA HEAR ME DAVE? I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER MY OWN ADDRESS ANYMORE WITH MY HEAD SO FULL OF ALL THIS SHIT!!!

This fanboy saga come full circle brought to you by Dhutchison

Wow. You're one lucky man to commission someone that inspired you to create.
