I dont own any be-ribboned rocking horse shoes (only boots) but Ive head the ribbons have a tendency to fall down. So...I drew it. Yup, that was pretty much the whole though process behind this picture. My art is so deep.Related content

Great expression she has on her face. For some reason, I'm really loving the skinny little legs. Probably because they make the skirt look gigantic.

Yeah.. I don't mind the stuff that actually has a meaning or feelings behind it, I mean a proper meaning, not the whole "oh, this splodge of paint symbolises the struggle of people I don't actually care about but am pretending I do so I look deep". I guess it's photography lessons that made me hate things with meaning so much... You had to pretty much make up all this bullshit otherwise your photo was useless. XD

Ah, I see. I understand how that could make you a little annoyed by the whole concept. I sometimes worry that my AP art portfolio will be disregarded due to there being not enough meaning in my pictures.

xD Well it's not like I'll just hate every picture with meaning, but I hate this whole idea that people seem to have that art isn't... "real" if it's just there to look pretty. And there always has to be this deep, pretentious message behind it.
Not to mention the art that is nothing more than a meaning, you know like... Anyone could make up the meaning and it would work, yet to look at it's not art, but it's still classed as better than a picture drawn by someone really talented that's just there to look pretty.
Okay I'll stop rambling now. Sorry XDD

Eh, some of my art has meaning, but not all of it. Sometimes you just really need a way to express yourself, and art is one of those way, just like any other, you know? Its not to be pretentions, its just an outlet for your emotions. I dont think that makes it better than anything else, though, its just something diffrent.
