it is beautiful in Kamakura. it is a close 2nd along with Hakone on my fave list right after Kyoto. this is the city where The Great Buddha statue is located (you saw the picture of it, titled "daibutsu")
i still can't forgive myself that i didn't have a good camera with me, a lot of great shots did not come out...so sad.
