Description
I made Mirage some friends from school! Basically just an excuse to to make OCs from every tribe now. Here's some mini descriptions:

Arrow is the oldest at seven years. He comes from a family of dragons who have worked as palace guards for the Skywing Queen for generations, so he's very stoic and rarely says more than he needs to. As time goes on, it becomes obvious that he's the peacekeeper between the lot of them, as he can break up spats/fights just by standing in front of them. He's speaks with his actions, not his words. (He also has a secret crush on Dreamreader.)

Caribou is the second oldest, he's six going on seven. He and his family usually fall within the fifth and sixth circle ranking in the Ice Kingdom (something they go into more detail about in the second arc.) Being in a lower ranking, Caribou has struggled with finding his purpose in the world, since he's kinda just average at everything he does. His friends are a great new support system as he tries new things, but he still has a lot of doubt and anxiety he tries to bottle up. Very awkward kid socially.

Next is five year old Dreamreader, who is very excitable and chatty. Which is funny because she often will have a random vision in the middle of a long monologue and there will be no warning, she'll just quick switch from "...and then I told Starswrirl that if she really wanted to go out with Fearless, then she should just go and tr - whoever eats the last pig in the dinning cave today will get food poisoning for the next two days - try and be forward with him because he can be such a dunce sometimes about these things." I'm not gonna say much more about her past because spoilers for the first arc and about nightwings but the reason she is so happy all the time is because she's been very "lonely" most of her life, because of reasons...so she's very excited to have friends around now.

Then there's Gibbon, who is a rainwing. Also, around five years old. He's been very comfortable in the rainforest his whole life, so being thrown in with a crowd of other dragons he doesn't know in a place he's unfamiliar with is very scary and so he develops a lot of anxiety at first. But he's also very curious and observant, and if things are calm and quiet he really starts to come out of his shell and work/play with the others without his nerves getting in the way. Most of the time he fluctuates between light blue and green, but he can be any color, really. When he's calm and content, he'll turn soft yellows, oranges, and pinks if he's feeling extra happy.

Algae is the youngest, at four years old. With Algae, he's the youngest son of Piranha, Queen Coral's War Commander. Being the son of a war commander means that you have to be strong and tough and hard or life is going to beat you down. He always has his guard up, and is kind of a little bully at first because he isn't sure how to make friends and doesn't understand the ways of other dragon tribes. So this leads to a lot of awkward fights and conflicts, but eventually he grows out of it because he learns that, even if life does constantly try to beat you up, you're not alone and its okay to depend on others when you need to. And that there is no shame in turning to your friends when you can't fight on your own.

I've been doodling up scenarios for these kids that I'll probably post sooner or later, and I'm not 100% sure if I'll make full refs like I did the others? But we'll see.

Also, just a disclaimer, any correlation or similarities between these characters and other artist's characters is completely coincidental and unintentional. I just picked random names on based on the tribes and started drawing.
