All I have to say is I would try to get some roughness in the outside of the fruit, because just those red colours looks way too smooth for a pomegranate.
The white on the inside looks a little burned, but that might be a camera problem

The Red colours have different properties dued to their chemical composition... The magenta is more thin and trasparent than the brilliant red, so be careful not to blend them together too much, or one will prevail and flatten the others..
To get to the right roughness of the peel i'd work on glazing and colours overlapping after the underpaint has dried
That's what i did with my pomegranate, check it out if You want, it took me 4 layers of oils until i get the details i wanted!

but to be clear, i'm not THAT good at oil painting, i usually paint randomly and then learn from my mistakes...
(Actually it's the same approach i use in real life xD )

My goodness. The rich colors, the soft strokes, the 'lighting'... this is absolutely astounding work. It's looks as if you can pluck it straight from the canvas and pop it into your mouth.
