Lately I have seen several reproductions of the Johannes (Jan) Vermeer painting “Girl with a Pearl Earring” appearing in my deviant feed.
Since I am fond of this painting I figured I would try my hand at a few modern “meta” derivatives of this classic painting using Midjourney (This is a follow up to my previous deviation Posing for Pearls and Pearls of Summertide ).
The “meta” part comes from the fact I wanted the girl to be searching for a pearl underwater.
After a few prompt iterations on Midjourney I got several images I liked and then I did some editing/splicing in Photoshop to tie it all together.
I figured I would post the result here for fun...
