I've read many different interpretations of what Christ did here and elsewhere but I've never read one like this. It speaks staight to the heart. Compliments to you and your awsome work. This poem just says it all. This poem is what we Christians are all about.

I once heard a really beautful story about the cross that someone wrote in a fanfic. Believe it or not, it was a Trigun Fanfic called 'Homecoming' on FF.net
It was about a tree that was torn with grief that it had to be used to crucify the Messiah so the Lord had mercy on it and made it a tinier tree, with twisted branches so that it wouldn't be sturdy enough for such a cruel execution. And when the tree blossomed, the blossoms were cross shaped and the edges of the petals had a little dent in them, like from the nails, and a twinge of rusty red, symbolizing the blood.

this is very touching. i read it ebcause of something tough im having to go through and thought maybe it would be comforting to me...and it is but in a completely different way than i expected. this helps me to put things in perspective....there is no issue so great that i cant give it to God. he died to bring me to him so i could BE with him. thank you for writing this.

...that is so powerful. I'm failing for words here it's that good. Poems to do with the cross always touch me and that's no exeption. it's brilliant, and those last two verses...really bring the message home. well captured
