Athrun Zala from Gundam Seed.Painted in watercolors (exept the text at the bottom of course), tried to do the minekura thing. (saiyuki)
Additional tools: Black filt tip pen for outlines and details + curtains. White gel pen for extra details in the hair + cracks in the stones.

ATHRUN. *Dies* Wow, all of that in water color? Wish I knew your secret... do you use the pencils, or just regular? Because so far I suck with 'em. But I love this. Faaaaave.

for the stone/poles in front I use a sponge to paint with. I didn`t use a nature sponge or whatever it`s called, just a regular sponge you can get in any store.

I use regular watercolor, the type that comes in tubes, I think it`s from windsor and newton or something, (don`t use those hard blocks if you want to paint thick).
I have pencils too, but they are hard to use, they leave these uhm....clumps? don`t know what it`s called in english, but the result dosen`t look clean.

Yes it`s watercolors, exept the text at the bottom of course, it was hell to paint, took me quite a while, I`m not usually patient enough to draw backgrounds and stuff.
