the color is too light @_@finally drew something in this holiday.... sacrifice all my time to my assignment. such. a. nightmare. and my holiday is going to end.
now i'm reading the novel"Howl's moving castle" and finally yesterday i cant help but spent a long time to re-watch the movie....
OMG Howl is so COOLLL (i mean, in the movie, he is much different in the book, lol)
sorry for ruining him but i just wanna draw himmmmmmm!

I'm impressed by your use of color. I think your palette is pleasant even though it is light. You show the light sources within the piece remarkably well. My only qualm is his right eye. Anatomically, it should be lower and closer to the nose. An eye is usually an eye's distance apart from the other, and should be level. If I cover the right eye, my brain automatically corrects where it should be.
Besides that, it is truly well done.

Mhmm. It's no trouble. You can check it using ellipses, or just draw from observation...That's all I've got as suggestions go.
I saw some of your gallery, and I think you are doing very well! I envy your color work because I haven't found a method that works for me yet, but you have a good control of it! Keep drawing!

wah!!! u read it! XD i was reading chinese version though, I LOVE IT when i found that Howl and Sufie (dunno how to spell) is much more different in book and movie...XDD they are so cool in movie, but in the book they are just soooo cuteeee XDD

do you have all the book in the series? i remember there are totally three books in Howl's Moving Castle series. how are them? 8D

E: I own the "Howls Moving Castle" and the second book which is called "The House of Many Ways". Sophie and Howl are not the main characters in the second book however they do show up. To me it was just as enjoyable as Howl's Moving was though. The third book that you mentioned, which is called "Castle in the Air" is not really part of the series. It's called a companion of Howl's moving castle so I think it's set in the same world but I don't know much about it. I never got the chance to read "Castle in the Air".
Oh there is another series that the author of "Howl's Moving Castle", Diana Wynne Jones wrote called the Chronicles of Chrestomanci (KREST-OH-MAN-SEE for help in pronounceΒ Chrestomanci) that you may also like to read if you can find the books. I have a few of those and I enjoy them so much I'm trying to get the whole series.

Β Sophie and Howl still play a large part in wants going on in the story so you still get more Howl and Sophie, and there is another character you would like to know about but I don't want to spoil the surprise.
Yeah, I like to read. I have no idea if there is a Chinese version of the Chrestomanci series but I hope that there is since you may enjoy reading it.
