I did a drawing of Spock with his Dalmatian puppy, Oscar. I did one of Spock and Oscar before, but it was earlier on and I hadn't thought of a name then. So this is the story of how Spock got Oscar:

Spock was thirteen years old. It had been two years since I-Chaya passed, and Spock was lonely. From his inability of controlling his emotions, and being half Vulcan, he had it tough. He was at school one day, and experienced something uncouth. Three Vulcan kids, in the same class as him, were harassing and belittling him just because he's "half human". That was no excuse to put someone down, especially Vulcans, they're supposed to be very smart and logical and all. Well the act they just performed on poor little Spock was very "illogical", that's for sure. So anyway, getting on with the story, the eldest one of the three Vulcan kids was being an absolute bastard to Spock, and pushed him. So then him and Spock got in to a fight, which left Spock all bruised and cut. He went home, and there was Sarek, his father, waiting for him. He had a big long discussion with Spock, and then after that asked, " would you like to have a pet? I have undergone a meeting and I am in the process of an examination. I must go to earth for a month and complete my mission there. I will be able to bring you back such an animal, but of which, I am unsure. Please tell me, Spock." So then Spock agreed he would like a dog, and decided on a Dalmatian. Originally it was going to have a Vulcan name, but Amanda interfered, and she said she was keen on the name 'Oscar'. So now Spock has a friend, his only friend he's ever had other than I-Chaya. He still missed him dearly, but is happy to have a pal. Oscar lived a good fourteen years and not long after that, Vulcan got destroyed by Nero, an angry Romulan. Lucky for Oscar. And he only lives in the alternate reality Star Trek, not prime.
