Description
Spring/Summer 08 seems to have alot of the "oh! so transparent" look. So i decided to make a mini collection of cocktail dresses based on sheer fabrics, with layerrings.

my collection is inspired by the elements found in roses.
main silhouette is the tent line, and hour glass...
Different colour roses gives a different feel and look.
i chose pink rose for a fresh, feminine and sweet young look.
very baby doll i guess.

i wanted deep red rose, but it gives more of a mature,sexy and romantic feel. oh well.. since its summer, why not the fresh look.

6th LOOK: THE GRAND FINALE

As this is the last, it has to be the best! its is a combination of the tent line and hourglass lines , just so that the whole collection can sorta go together aswell..

the inside is a pink silk satin hour glass dress, empire cutting again, with a black "obi" with pink stripe
the bust area is pleated vertically and draped to fit the bust .

the outer dress is made up of black silk organza. to hold the tent shape, thin wirings is weaved into the hemlines, then sewn with the uneven strips of organza. the "rose" is biggest at the bottom left. sewn on. the petals are appliqued.

the picture speaks for itself, i don't really know how to describe this...
