The blood is really crappy. I tried, I really did, but I just gave up and got this in the end. I would love it if somebody helped me out on the blood. My background is crap too, and I tried but it ended up like my blood...Just a little picture for my Death Note doujinshi. Nothing big. I just wanted to get this out of the way so I can go work on my other stuff. I promised myself to get off my ass and to get something about my doujin and/or webcomics out.
I tried thinking up a better title too, but it wouldn't fit in the title bar and/or didn't really pertain much to L. I don't know...I just stuck the "L's past" part in there to clarify stuff, I guess.
Yes, that is indeed L as a child.
He's with his parents at some amusement park I guess, and he's got a lollipop. He doesn't have heavy bags yet, though...
The blood is there for a reason. Partly symbolic, partly because I don't want to reveal their faces yet.
Trying to categorize things in the Deviantart category system is really hard... :/

I'm still working out the kinks. I'm getting a friend to help me with it. I hate how my characters seem Mary-sueish right now... *headdesk* I must fix it.

OCs usually do tend to be Mary-Sueish at first. But it's good that you're recognizing them as Mary-Sues. That means that you'll be able to change them into non-sues.

Yeah...I just hope it'll be enough. I'm looking at my old fanfictions with OCs and they're all...so...Mary-Sueish/have Mary-sueish tendencies/is a Mary-Sue. *sigh*

At least I'm not like my sister. She makes Sue characters and names them after herself and her friends. She doesn't even try to change their names, or if she does, she uses her "Japanese name," Ayame. =_=
Her writing makes SMeyer's work look as well-written as Watchmen.

My dad backed up all my files onto a separate hard drive in case something bad were to happen to my computer. Maybe you could do this when you get your computer all back to the way it was with the programs and such? Then, if in the event you had to wipe your hard drive again, you could use the other hard drive you saved your files on and yuo won't have to loose everything?
I don't know if it works or not, though...The only part I'm sure about is that you can back up your files onto a separate hard drive.
