My first try with painting environment, experimenting with new brushes.Inspired by Frank Herberts "Dune".

Ahh somehow I wander back to this painting again and again. Just so wonderful tones and the mood.. The harsh life at deserts + if there's a tornado you're screwed lol.

Very nice lanscape painting. The area to the left of the piece, that part of the sky could use some of the same blooming you've done on the right (which is done well). The twister kind of takes these two parts and splits them, making them look like they don't belong to the same skyline.

Oh, wow, it's just amazing. I love this 'the storm is coming' feeling at this one, though it took me time to actually get that it's a tornado there.

You got the scale and 'dryness' of the desert in the original book very well. Really good work.

This is some amazing work great painting. I love the placement of the person in relation to the rest of the painting.

I would say you've done well in giving the impression of what this image was from. As soon as I saw it I noticed the stillsuit and the Coriolis storm in the distance.
