Description A bird preening. I didn't reference this from one of my own pictures and I would like to cite the photographer, but unfortunately all I have is a single page torn out of some wildlife magazine. I'm not even sure which magazine or what species of crane it is, but the original photo was beautiful.

very nice, what medium is that? Just ink? Is that brown watercolor in there or brown ink? Nice style, there.

It's just ink (micron pen). I can't remember if I used any brown micron to accent the black or not... I drew this several years ago. Glad you like it.

Looks more like a heron than a crane.

But anyway, this is spectacular, along with all your other penwork! Spectacular job.

Very true. I did this ages ago, and I think if I could find that torn out photograph, I would be able to identify the bird now. It was exotic (not North American), but I can't be sure what it is without the color, and I hardly remember what that photo looked like now
