Description
This is my part of an art trade with Drerika . It was a great opportunity to paint her magical and beautiful character Dragoness Timeja. She chose a wonderful setting with the Dragoness sitting on a tree over a lake. With the sun in her back rising. It was also very interesting to draw all these glowing body markings and I learned a bit about water reflections
. Drerika has some wonderful OCs, I recommend you watch her ^^.

The lake looks super good...nice job on painting the water. The creature itself looks SO WEIRD! I mean, it' supposed to look weird, right? The details are excellent but the creature itself kind of freaks me out. Nice job, once again. Also, loving the extra touches you put, like the flying insects (fireflies?).

Thank you, You can take a look at Drerikas Gallery for more info on her. She is a female Dragoness in her anthro form. In sunlight the glowing body markings are black. She has blue scales and her underside has yellow scales. She has also pink or violett hair, horns and like a chinese dragon these long nose things (beard tongues?). Since she is in her anthro form I put some cloth on her. Maybe its the anthro form that freaks you out ^^.
Yes they are fireflies, I googled them for a more realistic look but did not want to put too much details into them.
