I present you S A L V E T E
an OC I especially designed for a CLUB contest!
(pronounced as /sal-way-tay/ or /sal-wet-tay/)

I N F O - A B O U T - S A L V E T E

He's an Artist like any other, he's pretty much openminded to all, and loves to meet new people, he is also pretty much of a neatfreak and likes to keep things ORGANIZED.
Hes quite talkative, can nearly NEVER SHUT UP , loves sweets and drawing, music, all kinds of cartoons/comics, and videogames,.

He mainly dislikes, rude people who don't show respect to others.

The name "SALVETE" is general greeting spoken to a group of people in LATIN. I gave him this name because he often meet new people

O R I G I N A L - C H A R A C T E R - F E A T U R E S

He uses his "hair/tail"-thing as a paint brush and uses a mini palette as a hair-pin which makes this his main feature.

You may wonder what the ROUND thing on his chest is; to put it simple, thats a mini Emblem FOR the CLUB "OC-Artists". The round circle is a letter "O", while we have the blue color on the right half, that helps the white half to enhance a letter "C". Get it?

He's also wearing a WHITE t-shirt with blue markings similar to the marks on a graph paper, which represents all the amazing arts that is made, starts from nothing but scratch and blank papers

C O L O R S

Since he is a Mascot design;
the COLORS on his palette are very IMPORTANT, those are his BASE and ORIGINAL colors, so If you'd like to draw him sometime, why waste valuable time by guessing the original colors of him, when you can easily pick the colors from the palette(ignore the white dots), and combine them with ANY colors of your own choice!

Keep in mind that I did NOT Add the Dark/Light colors on his palette, since If you were to draw him sometime with a specific theme/background etc I have given you the "honour" to pick them yourselves so the colors can blend/match better! Its up to you!

So drawing/coloring him won't be much of a problem for anyone
That problem is pretty much solved ..

From left to right, the three topper colors are for;

Skin - Hair - Left and Right eye

The Bottom colors are for;

The Mixed Black and Gray; For Pants and Belt
The Three black gradients;
The Darkest; The Shoes
The Dark Gray; The Shoesole
The Light Gray; The nails/barbs on his shoes

The Yellowish/Orangish color(LOL FUNNY WORDS); Is for the tape measure...

The Blue Color; Is for the lines/squares in his shirt AND the same blue color for the ROUND EMBLEM.

The Orange Color; Is for the Markings on his shirt
The Green Color; Is for his vest

OH GOD... I think that must have been the LONGEST "Artists COMMENT" I've written so far! X_X

I've been waiting for a mascot contest to come! Finally an opportunity to do an entry has arrived!

Hope you guys liked my design though!

OMG!

Lets cross our fingers, vote for me(LOL) and hope that I win! !

And if I unfortunatly lose on the OC Mascot contest, I'll either put this on my chibi folder, scrap this or just burn this poor OC . . Mostly because I do not know what to do with him <_< Neither do I want to turn him into one of my MAIN Characters .. Oh well . .
