Description
Two custom designs for merlynhawkThe two were inspired/represent the night sky and earth,
and were so much fun in further developing ^^
Also tried out some yummy new brushes in the bg :3
The Pegasus mare's name is Starfall, the Earth Pony stallion is Oakyn.

Ooooh, these are lovely designs! It's nice to see an Earth pony and pegasus that are modeled closely with the idea of Celestia and Luna's night vs. day, and have them not be royal. 
I love the look the two of them are giving each other too, close and intimate without there being any physical intimacy. They're close, they know each other well, but like strong friends they go about their daily lives contentedly and still appreciate the other's company.

True, true. It somehow reminds me of greek myths, where such a romance but at the same time standing strongly on your own ground would be somewhat a cannon story ^^

Yup, precisely, and seeing ponies and characters in general that break from stereotypes are so hard to find. >w<
I love those stories too, because there is a more natural feel to those romances that fits these two perfectly, where it is and it is calm, but hums like a candle rather than a bonfire.

Moja droga, wiesz o tym, że jesteś super i że uwielbiam Twoje prace. Masz absolutnie niepowtarzalny styl i świetne oko do szczegółów, czego Ci okrutnie zazdroszczę, no. Pięknie dobierasz kolory, a Twoje kucyki wyglądają zawsze na takie zwiewne, włochate i błyszczące (ogólnie bardzo "mamo mamo jestem księżniczką" i ja to kocham).
Grzywy są GENIALNE, naprawdę. Wszystko mi się podoba, kreska jest doskonała i po prostu wszystko wygląda niesamowicie.
Jedyne zastrzeżenie mam do kolorów w tle - ten fioletowy cień na brzoskwiniowym tle jest chyba zbyt szary, bo brzoskwiniowy zaczyna przy nim wyglądać źle i jakoś tak niezbyt.

Naprawdę, już nie wiem jak mam dziękować za tak miłe słowa i komplementy ^^ Ale aż mi się serducho rozpływa widząc jak moje prace, które dla jednych są...no cóż, po prostu poniaczami, są tak doceniane ♥ Człowiek od razu widzi, że jednak coś robi dobrze
Co do ostatniego zastrzeżenia, przyznam, że możesz mieć rację. Sam brzoskwiniowy zachód wyglądał przyjemnie, ciepło i miękko, ale teraz jak patrzę faktycznie, nadciągająca 'noc' może wyglądć ciężko i nieco przytłaczająco (obawiam się czy nie odbiera mocy samej Starfall). Niby wszystko wygląda w porządku, ale coś mi tu piszczy. No cóż, eksperymenty często uczą

Have to say, I am intrigued by the concept of giving certain elemetns of nature a pony form

Thank you ^^ Originally the concept to somewhat ponify the elements was the comissioners idea and I must admit it was really interesting to work with, it reminded me a bit of myths where a romance between the Night Sky goddess and a Faun or an Earth god would be something cannon^^
As for the brushes, well...now that I see it after a while I think I should stick with one style for certain pieces so the elemnts won't distract one another. The 'color pencils' one is reserved when I do layoits for animation prijects and such, but I think the normal, standard brushes fit best with the ponies
