Brought this old old image out to edit and recolor for my illustration portfolio.This was a lot more cartoony piece before I edited it.
Anyway, not much else to say! Comic Con was a blast and I met a lot of cool people!

Wow, so gorgeous! The background is eerie and awesome, but holy-mother-of-monkeys-wow on the horse. Beautiful. I can't believe you got that much detail in the hair.
Also, *squee* I do so love fresian-types. Friend of mine does dressage on one (horse name is The Flying Dutchman, how fun is that?) but he shaves the feathers and trims the mane.

It was originally a very cartoony character, then I had to change it into more realistic, ended up drawing a random head on her. PFFFF, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT SHE IS NOW.

My horse knowledge took over a decade to compile, madam! Sometimes I think I run on equine energy. "Quick, someone show me a horse!" *picture flashes* "That's a...Morgan!" *sound of tank filling up, followed by a cheerful ding* "Oh, thank heavens. I was on empty, there."

Oh, it's gorgeous! It all ties together so well. Beautiful color pallet, fantastic anatomy - just look at those muscles! it's really moving! - and great contrast. It really brings this piece alive.
I want it on my wall!!!
