Description Hannya represents a jealous and vengeful female demon. It originates from a Japanese story of a beautiful woman who let her anger and envy consumed her, and she became a horned demon.

This painting has been a learning experience for me, took me two months on and off to finally finish it. I chose to paint Hannya because I think every woman has a jealous and ugly side, no matter how good she hides and denies it. This painting will help remind me to be a better person.
