As for the mask, she IS actually wearing one. See that black cloth over her eyes?
It's a lace veil mask, according to Google images people used to wear them for masquerades back in the day ;v;.

If you focus on her face it looks like she's in a long/narrow corridor leading into darkness, if you focus on her dress it looks like she's in a room and the affect of it is really interesting and intense like was it intentional or what cause it's really, really awesome--

The effect was more of me being all "OH THEY IM GOING TO PUT PERSPECTIVE LINES ON THIS PICTURE, BUT PUT THE ROOM ENDING AT NORMAL LENGTH HURR HURR"
But yeah, I'm pretty glad it game out nice looking and that I wasn't just randomly scribbling for hours with motive //shot
