Blah. How come my scans never look as good as they do in person? Seriously, I like this one so much better in person.ANYWAYS, I saw Marie Antonette...about a month ago. And just this week I felt like sketching something inspired by the movie. Oh Muse, you were stuck in traffic weren't you?
I got a little obsessive over the teeny details (which you can pick out better in person). I had to put thie drawing away before everything was covered in dots and teeny flowers.
Overall I'm rather pleased with this piece.

I think it looks beautiful. Have you tried messing with the colors or brightness/contrast in the comp? It might help you feel better about your art. I haven't seen the movie, but I will as soon as I can. heh
