I disagree. Black and white would make the photo too calm and soothing. What I would like to see is the border removed. The upper right corner is so dark it blends into the black border and gives the photo a skewed feel. Try changing the color or dropping it altogether.

I don't quite enjoy the saturation in this picture, I think it goes a little overboard.
