You're welcome. I really like your work. I just watched three does stroll across my front lawn. Hope they're headed some place warm. I keep thinking they're running out of habitat but then they actually seem to thrive in the suburbs...but what do I know.

How's your winter going?
We are being hammered!
A foot and a half of snow already (5 foot drifts) and -35 Celsius.

I live in North Ga. so no snow to speak of but it's been seriously cold. The same arctic front that's hit the Midwest so hard has reached us. It was -16 cĀ degrees on my front porch this morning and that's not counting the wind chill. May not sound to bad but it's only been that cold here a couple times in the last 30 years or so. It's rough on the plants (I own a greenhouse) and I don't know how the wildlife make it. Oddly enough it's suppose to be 17c or 18c by the weekend...and raining no doubt.

Glad you like it.
Actually it's just a rough sketch because I was working out an idea for a painting.

Not nearly as much as I'd like... I tend to do a bit better at local sales, though.

Thanks!
I saw this deer and several others in one of our National Parks where they allow you to get quite close to take pictures.

Wow, that's a cool park, then!
Most parks, I think, do not allow people to get to close to the animals.

Well that's a good idea because they are wild animals.
I'm always really careful when photographing wild animals. I watch them closely and read their body language so that I don't cross over that invisible line of comfort for them.
Every year in Banff (where I photographed the deer) one or more people are attacked by, and sometimes injured by, the Bison that roam freely through the town. I witnessed one such attack, it turned out alright though. When the bull charged him, the man went behind a tree and kept it between them while the bull smashed it a few times to make a point then went back to feeding.
I reported the incident to a Park Ranger and was shocked with his reply. "They were here first! We're the intruders."
Say-la-vie!

xD True. They are very sensitive with danger..
And people also serve as a threat for them; whether we mean harm or good.
Haha! That Park Ranger is funny. xD He has a point, though.
