◆ PROTECTOR: The last but certainly not least important facet of hatchling rearing is protection. A hatchling will never grow to its full potential if it is not protected by its parents and family group, whether this is from rival flights, natural encounters, or even themselves. Depict in art or write about your Dragon completing one of the below prompts. Depicting failure with a proper attempt will not discredit the rite, and it will still count.

2. Due to heavy winds and rain, the residence of your Dragon and its Companions is in jeopardy, threatening all that you have and have worked for. Draw or write about your Dragon assisting in emergency preparations, sheltering others, or otherwise defending against the threat of the storm.
