Finally took some shots today of the Fukubuchou/Vice President plushie that I made three weeks ago for our Star Driver group at BrisNova! (Spoiler? The background fabric is my next plushie project. 8D /coughmadoka)

He's a bit worse for wear after having been taken around two con week-ends, but I'm still pretty happy with how he turned out! He's the first plushie I've made in nearly a year, and took me around 2 1/2 - 3 days to make in between work and finishing up little bits of my own costumes.

I didn't use any sort of pattern for him - I never do with plushies. I just cut and sew shapes togther until they work. XD; So that's how I went about making him. The hardest part was the head which took about 3 tries to get right.

He's made with five wooden cotter joints, so that he's articulate. The yellow fur is a crushed synthetic, while the white parts of him are either felt, interfacing or misc. nice fluff I had lying around. 8D He's also fitted with a voice box in his chest that was a recording of *K-chan009 going 'Kyukyu kyu kyuuuuKYU', though the batteries have died now, and he just sounds like static. OTL Uum...what else, his nose is just a felted one from Spotlight, and his eyes were buttons before I cut them down to shape and covered them with black seude.
