Description I've been looking into this the past week and thought I would share the findings I've been jotting down in my journal. I will definitely find this useful, and even those who aren't that familiar with copics can use this system to decide on which ones to use/buy next.

Oh, and I know I haven't been all too familiar with DA lately... but how cool is this scheduling thing?! Haha! Is awesome.

www.dickblick.com always has great deals on copiic markers and refills. But if you want them super affordable, see if you can get them at an anime convention. That's where i've gotten most of my sets, though depending on who's there, they can range from 250(copic themselves selling them), to 450(a warehouse/third party distributor)

if an anime con isn't your option, check out Blick. as i said, great deals.

I started using copics for the first time and i dunno if i'm too heavy handed or not, but when i used them they would bleed outside the area i wanted to color in. is there some type of trick to it?

Some papers are better than others. There is bleedproof paper, but I don't like these as I am a serial blender (meaning I use a lot of ink) and they don't carry a lot of ink well. Therefore, I recommend using smooth bristol paper 150gsm-200gsm. Will help stop that bleeding.

I find this happens when there's too much ink in the nib.
it sometimes helps to let the nib bleed into a napkin for a moment or two. it means wasting precious ink, but it also means not destroying a piece of art, or having to go back and correct bleed.

I heard that sticking them in the freezer for about 10-20 minutes helps with the bleeding.

This can be extremely useful. I've wanted to use these markers. This will be a handy guide for when I get a set for myself.
