Nice composition. Nice use of negative space. Nice weighting of something against nothing, and yet, balance is achieved. Nice diagonal movement that offsets the stillness of the squirrel.
Very handy that the squirrel wore the same three colours as the background. Score one for mother nature.
I'm a little troubled by the lone leaf in the top-left corner. I tried editing it out, just to see, and I liked the results better. But that's cheating. And who am I to argue with nature?

Nice shot

If you want to get rid of that purple and green fringing around the twigs, its really easy in Lightroom, just go to near the bottom of the develop tools "Lens Corrections" then the "Color" tab.

Then click on the little eye dropper (maybe best to do when zoom in to 1:1) and use the eye dropper to click on the purple section and the green section.  The eye dropper should change color when you are over the color fringing area.  Then click "Done" in the bottom right of the image.

I might also suggest moving the "Highlights" slider in the "Basic" tools at the top.  Try pulling that slider the left and the sky should show up somewhat, especially if you shot in RAW.

Sorry for the unsolicited advice, just something I do for my own images
