i told my friend Will I would make some ocs for his thing so I made Mantids yo

The lil girl is Amber Mango, and she’s an Orchid Mantis. She’s quite sweet, a bit of a clutz and prone to being kind of shy. The picture is misleading but Amber is actually quite tall for someone her age (due to the mantid genes)

Her mother Katalinka is an old OC I revamped- a mysterious woman that many try to avoid- she intimidates a lot of people because of her species and her size and general aloofness, but she really doesn’t know why. Amber’s friends are terrified of Katalinka, even though she’s usually very nice (she’s actually quite hurt that people dont seem to want to interact with her)

The fact that they never ever talk about a dad in the picture probably doesn’t help the reputation I guess
