This picture is for Ramona, she said she wanted 'anything' - therefore, I dedicate the first picture, of the main character of my new series I have in development... this, to her! *whew*I hope she, aswell as all of you enjoy it as much as I had drawing it!
Done in photoshop CS3
Drawing time - 2-3 hours
Colouring time - 5-6 hours

I love this piece. I really do. Having seen just about all of your artwork, I can tell this this is easily one of your best, if not then the best. The first thing that catches my eye is the sunset itself, which, aside from being bold and colourful, really sets the mood for the piece overall. That is, a mellow sense of tranquility. Then one casts their eyes to the objects in the picture, namely the character and the mountain. There isn't much detail in the environment of the mountain itself, which isn't reaqlly a bad thing. It forces the viewer to look at the character more, where no expense has been spared. Together, the three elements of this piece, the sunset, the mountain and the character form to make one of the most tranquil and relaxing pieces I've seen in a long time.
