Description
A tribute to the passion of traveling and discovering new places... just a happy and optimistic image!
It was commissioned by british band Takoma Star as cover art for their debut album.
it's a mix of photomanipulation and digital painting.
All source photography was made by me. A big hello to the two models; Katya and Ubaldo.

I love the carefree, whimsical feel of the piece! The vivid coloration and ultra-crisp detail are beautiful as well. Is there a secret to making an image appear even sharper and clearer than virtually any photo?

I have no idea... I usually match the resolution of all the elements to avoid inconsistencies in sharpness. I guess this one gives you that impression because of the colors.

Hi, Everyone. Danny from the band Takoma Star here. When we asked Claudio to design this for us we were thrilled and we wanted him to run away with the idea without our interfering. What he came back to us with exceeded all of our expectations.
Claudio is one of my favourite artists in the world and I am honoured to be able to also call him a friend.

No need to be shocked. It's often the case that you have other favorite images but this one -like all the others- is really good, it's fresh, less meanstream and also a little bit crazy. I wrote it yesterday, I mean, I like it because of the liberty feeling. So enjoy it and I wish you many resonance on your work
