Description A fanart sketch of Commander Shepard from Mass Effect 3. This was done in 15-minute increments over the course of 7 days, with today being the seventh day (finished the legs, did some minor touchups, and went back over the hair).

Thank you! I've spent numerous sketching sessions just sketching out different hand positions using my own hand as reference. Something that helps is to break the pieces of the hand into the palm, finger slots (the places on the palm where the fingers attach), and then drawing the finger positions last (starting with simple stick images to get the finger placement correct). If you do that, then drawing hands becomes a breeze in no time. Also something to remember is to think of the palm as the head of a spade shovel in terms of curvature.
