Description Original South Bend Ten in One tool post..   I'm not sure why they called it a Ten in one.  I count it as having Four functions: Tool holder, knurling wheel mount, boring bar holder, and parting tool.  I like it a whole lot better than the quick change tool post set that I paid too much money for, considering it has a lot of problems.

Well, no idea what it is, but did find this via the net.

1. turning
2. facing
3. knurling
4. boring
5. threading
6. parting-off.

Tool holder and Wheel mount would bring the total up to 8 out of 10

Same here..   So much rain and wind.   I had it under a tarp on the back deck but the weather kept blowning the tarp off, or getting water up underneath.  Even with oiling it every week it was getting rust.  So it is now apart, on end, in the 'tool nook' annoying my housemates.

Bought myself a Anet A8 3D printer for my birthday and have been printing the parts for an MPCNC 525 (thingverse err..  Thing.  www.thingiverse.com/thing:7249… )  Come spring and warmer weather I hope to get the tent/shed thing repaired (it leaks and the wood floor is rotting) an get my shop set up out there..

How big is it that its presence could annoy your housemates?

(sorry for a very late reply.)  the bed is 4.5' long and weighs ~85lb, 12" wheel contershafft and 9"x10"x25" box of change gears and accessories, +1/2 hp motor, tail stock, etc.. All are made from cast iron or steel.  Kinda hard to move around.

Oh, I get it. "Happy hours" with removing surface rust await. I have the same problem with another machine, but with a much bigger one. Had to transport it in the wake of winter and got some icing on the ways which resulted in surface rust.

That 3D stuff looks very interesting. I myself have no experience with modern electronics so I keep away from that)) What kind of work do you plan to print?
