Phew, this one took a lot out of me.Trying to mix the graphic cartoon style with some realistic lighting/rendering.
I guess you can relate this to my monkey king piece haha.

Nice work on the fur color! With the sun rays on his hands, works well, though perhaps the light should be a little less diffuse on his legs and the ground, looking at how strong the light is on his hands.

You're perfectly right! I went overboard with all the reflections haha. At first, the shadow areas were way darker but then I went on a ambient occlusion spree.
Gonna take a special note of the light in the future pieces. Thank you for pointing it out
