Note on Redleaf- The minimum age to be a warrior is 16 moons, but the mods allowed me to make him a warrior prematurely because the Clan "valued him so much".

Personality:
Arrogant: Redleaf is very arrogant, as he's what he considers "the first REAL Windclan cat". He thinks it gives him some authority over others. His arrogance is often his downfall, and makes others dislike him.

Ambitious: He is very ambitious, and believes he has the right to be leader because, as aforementioned, he believes he's the epitome of Windclan cats. He has a terrible way of showing he's worthy to be leader, though.

Lazy: Redleaf is incredibly lazy, and will do anything he can to avoid getting out of work. This includes skipping patrols and lying around in the sun instead of hunting. He's pretty sneaky about it, and thus hasn't really been caught. Yet.

Immature: He was made a warrior at a very young age, and therefore is still very immature and annoying. He also makes tons of jokes that nobody besides him thinks are funny.

Afraid of illness: His three siblings died of greencough as kits, and ever since then he has been very frightened of illness. Whenever a cat in the clan is sick, he makes himself very scarce, and will dash to the Medicine cat at the slightest sign of a cough or the sniffles.

Irresponsible: He shirks his duties, and when he does agree to do something, he does it badly or not at all. Not only this, but he has no idea how to organize cats and thus is not even permitted to take care of kits.

Philanderer: He's quite the ladies man, and somehow expects that all the chicks'll fall for him. Probably part of his god complex. So if he gets rejected, he just claims Starclan was messing with his fate, and if he gets accepted, well, that's another feather in his cap.

Backstory:
Redleaf's birth was celebrated among all of Windclan, as he was in the litter that was first born to Windclan. As a result, everyone pampered him and his siblings. However, shortly after his birth, the first great greencough epidemic swept the clans. His siblings, still young and weak, quickly succumbed. For some reason, though, Redleaf never even caught it. He was one of the only healthy cats in the entire clan. Since his siblings were so sick, he never really got to know them. That is one of his only regrets, that he never really had a close sibling to play with or confide in. Sure, he had the other warriors and apprentices, but they weren't the same.
When the sickness finally left, pity and kindness was bestowed upon him because of his loss. Cats took time out of their day to visit him and bring him stuff. Thus, he never lacked food or entertainment, the clan's equivalent of a prince. This made him ridiculously arrogant. He never wanted for anything, and never knew true suffering. He had never even had to go through a single battle, like the cats who had helped found his clan.
He was apprenticed at six moons, and although he was very arrogant already, nobody really took notice. They still thought of him as the clan's baby. Redpaw was a powerful and clever warrior, and these were the qualities that his clanmates took notice of, not the fact that he was lazy and expected everyone to do everything for him. They were eager to make him a warrior. Not only that, but he had a mentor who was more focused on the battle aspect of being a warrior. She never taught him what it REALLY meant to be a warrior of Windclan. He didn't even learn what the Warrior Code was until a good deal in to his apprenticeship. By that time, disregard for others was so ingrained in him that he didn't even want to learn about such things. He considered those lessons boring, and whenever his mentor deigned to explain something of the sort to him, he ignored her.
Despite this, he was made a warrior at an extremely young age. His good qualities, like his speed and battle prowess, caught Windstar's eye, and the clan was prepared to overlook his bad qualities. Certainly some noticed, but anyone could see how very much he wanted to be a warrior. Because of this, they appointed him a warrior. Whatever Redleaf wanted, he got.
Shortly after that, he began disregarding all of his duties, preferring to bask in the sun. Occasionally, he'd follow a patrol, but would ask to go hunting alone and then go laze around. The clan still hasn't really caught on, so he continues to shirk his duties and expect everything to be done for him. If he ever expects to become an honorable warrior, he really needs someone to straighten him out.

RP sample:
The day dawned bright. Redleaf stepped outside of his den, enjoying the feel of the sun on his back. The weather was warm, in sharp contrast to the chill of leaf-bare. As the sun had just risen, the clan deputy was sorting out the dawn patrol. Hoping to avoid such a task, the red tom slipped out of camp through a back way. Anything was better than the dawn patrol. At this time of the morning, all he wanted to do was sit in the sun, which there hadn't been enough of over the harsh cold season.
As he broke free of the brushes, he began to grin. The day was bright, and he knew just the spot to bathe in the sun. If he was lucky, he might even catch a rabbit on the way. As his feet thudded against the hard ground, he congratulated himself on avoiding another patrol. The other cats could handle that. He'd worked hard to become a warrior, and he planned to enjoy his freedom while he was still young. His pace quickened, and soon he was running full out. Feeling the wind on his face was invigorating, and he had to wonder what it would be like to be a cat from another clan, one with no great love of running. His pace quickened even more until he was a red streak across the scrubland. As he rounded the a corner, though, he stopped dead. There, in front of him, was one of the senior warriors.
"Guess who's been shirking their duties again," he growled. Redleaf stood speechless, not wanting to say anything that would get him in to more trouble. The silence stretched for a long moment, but eventually the grizzled warrior spoke again. "Go join the dawn patrol, Redleaf." Angrily, the reddish cat replied, "I'm not an apprentice anymore!"
"Then stop acting like one." Redtail felt a surge of anger and annoyance. He should be able to go where he pleased. He was a warrior, not some mewling kit.
"You have duties to the Clan, Redleaf. Service to your Clan is the point of being a warrior."
"I know," muttered Redleaf sullenly. The warrior met his gaze, amber eyes clear and pointed. Eventually Redleaf turned. He slunk away, back towards the direction of the camp. The warrior stood staring after him, eyes boring in to the back of his head. He broke in to a run, trying to get away from the old cat's accusing stare.
On the moor, rain began to fall.
