deeper inside the paracomb.. maybe six or seven layers... we lost count after three or four... there's a weird amnesiac vibrating busyness that pervades every molecule of that place.. but we at some time arrived into some kind of lobby or foyer.. "wait here" she said and disappeared behind some gob of yellowed wax while slowly her buzzing faded hex-echoed into the depths beyond... "no no no.. this will not do.. this will not do" we heard a congested, effeminate but very deep voice repeating as it slowly grew louder... closer.. but just before it arrived our hostess returned, crawling out from somewhere in the ceiling.... moving with great urgency in body and tone she buzzed over to one of six hexagon panels covering the wall opposite us in the foyer.. pounding the edge of a lower center panel with a flat fist it popped open to reveal itself as doorway leading down a slippery looking oily wax tunnel... like a secret indoor water slide might look.. if such a thing exists somewhere... "in in quick quick quick now" she urged us.. "he'll be around the corner in six seconds" ...everything happens in sixes there... in the paracomb.. "who? what?" i demanded... "honeyhat honeyhat honeyhat" she quickly offered... "nothing is worse than that... go now go go now go" she whisper screamed as she shoved us into the wax tunnel and clicked the door shut behind us.... and then.. blackness.. all the way down..

... and that's where our story begins.. that's when we stumbled upon what the paracomb really was.. and what we were really there for...
