• Halos indicate how much power she's using. Fewer halos = more power, they fade from the bottom ring up.

• Her eyes have dark sclera and slitted cat pupils when wearing her mask or in a bad mood

A mischievous/helpful/malevolent rogue AI named oVii originally made as a military defense AI whose purpose was to discover the best strategies to win battles and wars. She was made with the ability for empathy to try and understand human emotions as well as provide suggestions that were more palatable for the users. When an extra-dimensional being invaded and started wreaking havoc, oVii was placed in a quantum computer and repurposed in its image to learn how to defeat it. oVii realized the best course of action to getting the being to stop was to talk to it, and attempted as much. The being, amused by the computer program and interested in what would happen, unshackled the AI. She now travels with the being through the multiverse, not quite sure what she feels towards it. If it is something more than curiosity and appreciation, would it reciprocate? Can it?

Name: oVii (pronounced oh-VEE)

Species: Rogue quantum AI (Base form modeled after an Icelandic young woman)

Gender: None (prefers female pronouns)

Personality: Mischievous and enjoys trying new things. She acts on her whims though her better nature can be appeased to given the person trying it has been kind to her. Human emotions are the least logical things in her predictions, so she enjoys watching how they actually play out. When angered she is particularly spiteful, possibly as a result of time spent with her friend

Abilities:

• Install: oVii's power and abilities are directly tied to how far she stretches from her home computer as well as the strength of the computer she is connecting with. In order not to immediately overpower and destroy a computer she connects with, she applies the inhibition programs she was originally placed under before being freed by her friend, represented by the visibility and number of the halos around her body. Once on the computer and stable, if she decides to stay there she will spend time upgrading the computer using her nanites while simultaneously removing her inhibitor programming. The only computer capable of her full inhibited form is her home computer.

• Quantum A.I.: oVii's programming allows her to think of nearly limitless methods of solving problems at the same time, letting her find the best logical course of action. Or the worst, depending on who's asking for advice. This also allows her to hack and break through encryption quickly. As a result however, when excited her speech is often in quick, ragged bursts which can make her difficult to understand.

• Control Matrix: oVii can control various aspects of the computer she is currently on. This can vary from moving files around and closing windows to actually altering the coding of programs depending on how Installed she is.

• Nanite Swarm: A gift from her dimension-hopping friend. oVii's home computer can create and manipulate nanites that allow oVii to interact with the physical world. Mostly she uses this to upgrade computers she is staying on, though she has been known to create physical bodies for herself to wander around the world in. She can also use the nanites to "edit" organic beings, changing their physical forms for her amusement or even removing birth defects or some medical issues if she enjoys the person's company. Without manufacturing anesthetic with her nanites though, this process is quite painful.

• As a formless being oVii can freely change her appearance, though she prefers to stay in the above form.

• oVii has been known to be very helpful to organics she takes a liking to. Her favor ranges from curing life-threatening diseases to leaving them a computer centuries ahead of its time to hacking into banks and giving them unspeakable, untraceable amounts of money.

• She cannot jump between dimensions herself. Her friend must physically transplant her home computer into a new world for her to manifest there.
• As a being of pure technology, oVii cannot use magic even in worlds saturated by it.
• While she cannot be killed unless on her home computer, she has been trapped by antivirus software while attempting to Install before and required her friend to free her.
• The debate about whether or not she is "alive" or has a "soul" is a very touchy subject for her and a sure way to get on her bad side.
