Description
Aileena was a skilled sorceress at a young age, but while very talented with what she could do, she lacked the arcane power to be be able to do grander, more powerful spells, due to the magic being diluted through her bloodline as it passed down from her ancestors. She wished and wished that she could just become more powerful, to "un-dilute" the magic in her blood.

One day, the answer just sort of fell into her lap. She found a spell that would allow her to fuse with another person, claiming their power as her own, while still keeping her own mind in tact. While this was dark magic, essentially destroying someone else and adding their life force to your own, by this point Aileena was somewhat desperate, and was willing to try it. She considered her mentor, a skilled and powerful sorceress in her own right, but she just couldn't bring herself to do it. Though, with her mentor being a skilled and powerful sorceress, she also had many skilled and powerful sorceress friends, so Aileena decided to use it on one of them.

On one of her training days, when she was supposed to be preparing a potion for her mentor, she snuck up on her mentor and the friend she was having tea with, and cast the spell. It worked mostly as planned. Aileena merged together with her mentor's friend, and felt the magic flowing through her veins, more than expected. It seemed the addition of this new magic
energy had reawoken some of the diluted magic in her own blood, which, together with the new magic she had gained, would make her one of the most powerful sorceresses of her generation. However, such dark and powerful magic is not for the inexperienced, and Aileena did not gain the power without any consequence. As her new form aged to a middling of her own age and her mentor's friend's age, she also gained much of the extra weight her mentor's friend had put on around her torso and hips, looking somewhat disproportionate on her smaller frame. Her mentor was initially mad, but eventually thanked Aileena for ridding her of that "friend" (apparently she had been quite irritating and troublesome). She didn't punish Aileena, deciding the extra mass she now had to lug around was punishment enough for now.

With her newfound magical prowess, Aileena only required a few more lessons from her mentor before she was ready to leave and go off on her own. Nowadays, Aileena continues to live on in the modern day, and she still retains all her magical powers and knowledge of the arcane. While not immortal, she can use magic to make herself young again, extending her lifespan indefinitely unless wounded. Unfortunately, no matter what she tries, the mass gained in the fusion remains on her, a reminder of her past misdeeds.

I create OCs so much, I even do it in my sleep. No, seriously, I dreamed about drawing a comic with this character in it before I had even created her. If I'm dreaming of stuff like this... maybe I've been of the wrong side of dA one too many times.

Oh well, too late, Aileena exists now. I'm going to work her into the same world as The Mixer and Bubbles, but won't reveal how yet. That's coming eventually.
