Kakapos, also know as owl parrots, are flightless nocturnal parrots from New Zealand. It is the world's only flightless parrot and the heaviest, and there are only 124 left in the wild.The Kakapo Recovery Programme is working to save these birds from extinction through research, monitoring health and numbers in the wild, and occasionally artificially incubating and hand raising chicks.

People need to stop owrrying about wolves and other commonly adored animals... The Kakapo is so cute, and no one even wants to save them. Very sad.
