Description
John Campbell wrote nice little story about shape sifting, man (and husky) eating alien visitor that sows terror and paranoia among the members of polar expedition.
The name of the story is "Who Goes There?" and it had inspired 3 movie adaptations, of witch John Carpenters adaptation is considered "the most faithful to the original" and a true classic of modern horror films.
Since I have read this eerie classic recently, and since October is the month of all things scary and spooky, creepy and crawly, I have decided to treat myself (and you all deviants out there) with the image of "The Thing" based on its original description from the novel: blue skin with cilia like hair that move and ooze with the life of its own, and 3 glaring red eyes.
Enjoy.
