I know, this pics common, but it is the best pic of lestat from interview with a vamp, i drew this for my old SoR teacher and my fav teacher ever Miss Knight.So tehn Miss if you ever get around to making an account for your art, Thank you very much for the experiences and the eye opening side tracks to the curriculum. And most of all thank you for understanding my slightly unconventional thinking
P.S Also you may notice in my scraps is my fancy dress/coustum of lestat... when i had long hair

no she was my SoR teacher, but she appreciates art, and i don't think shes a sculptor shes more a painter

very nice. you have the eyes down really nicely.. I always do think eyes hold the most character.
I think it could use a bit more definition contrast on the side aroung the hair and the ear to draw the character off the background a little more.. and make the bottom of the left (our left) eyebrow a bit darker.. since you have very dark tone and dark eye.. then pale eyebrow.
Of course these are only small points. However your drawing skills are very good and the character is really portrayed very well. It gives off quite a bit of emotion.

Really nice pencil work dude. It's great to see how you've improved over the past few months. My only crit is to get yourself some softer pencils, perhaps 2b or 3b to get your shadows a lot darker which would make him stand out more due to the amount of contrast in black and white pictures. But that is a very minor point that could be caused by the scanner or if it isn't it can be easily corrected in good old Photoshop by using the Curves editor. You've got great shadows around his eyes and such. Very well done

Not studying always produces much more interesting things than what studying would have done
Scanners have a habit of doing that unfortunately. Pencil sketches always look better before they are scanned. Give it a tweak in PS with the curves or brightness and contrast tools and it'll really bring out the contrast. Seriously nice work though even as it is
