Mina and the Count! Simple Fan art for a simple and very cute and awesome little show~ I wish it went beyond oh yeah cartoons though- hurm...ANYWAY! I remembered seeing this when I was a kid, but not thinking much of it- I was already stupidly obsessed with DEXTER'S LABORATORY~~ Because... short scientist- yes you people know me to well. But anyway- Recently however *BechnoKid being the awesome and amazing person she is, took the liberty of showing me this show on youtube.

It's been ten years since I saw the shorts on Oh Yeah Cartoons and it still shocks me that it never became a series. Ah, well at least we got Teenage Robot...which in retrospect isn't nearly as satisfying.

I only vaguely remembered it from when I was a kid... There was one episode (I believe it was the very first one?) that I remembered very clearly, though. A couple months ago, though, I found all the episodes online. NEEEEEE it was a magical show! AND I AGREE- THE COUNT DID VAMPS RIGHT. SCREW EDWARD CULLEN.

I remember watching that as I kid, oh the memories this pic brings back. It seriously should've been made into a full cartoon, Mina and the Count deserve more than short status. Great job btw, you captured the essence well and the background is perfect. Keep up the good work.

I'd always been under the assumption that "Mina and the Count" was a predecessor to "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy," just as "Larry and Steve" was a predecessor to "Family Guy." Though, in this case, I think Larry and Steve was far superior to what it turned into.
