Exploring a waterfall. Must be on the Manistee River; that's the only river I paddle with waterfalls, though I don't remember them being quite so showy or rocky. But artistic license, yes? The paddler took off the lifevest/PFD and set it down behind the kayak, out of sight. You don't need a PFD when rock climbing.

And again, if the pictures are put in order (this one, number four, on the far right) the river flows from one to the next, and the vegetation extends between them.
