Description This is another potential image commissioned for a roleplaying game by . The setting: the world is ravaged by a nano-plague, leaving the survivors into two camps: those who found themselves merged with animals, plants, and objects and those living in massive city domes while the plague rages outside.

Here, we have one of the dome occupants wearing a battle biohazard suit, fighting a man merged with a bloodthirsty bat.

Zac you amaze me. I really don't know how you manage to produce so much work to such consistently high standards. You're a one off mate.

yeah imagine all the angry 17 year old demanding the "Real Batman!" and how dare you besmurch his legacy, and so on and so forth!

The textures of the fur on the 'bat-man' are sensational! Great volume to it! And of course the dynamic posing and composition of the image lends it lots of energy. <3

Thank you! I've been trying to create a wider range of poses lately. I noticed I have a tendency to do a lot of three-quarter views of my characters.

You're welcome! Come to think of it, I should try to do the same myself... *ponders.*

Wow! Superb poses and composition. You've made use of every part of the canvas in a way that seems completely natural, given the scene. Are you sure you're not a cinematographer in disguise?

When I come up with a drawing, I do imagine them as sort of a still from a movie or a cartoon. Alas, the actors don't always do what I want them to do.

There are such things as vampire bats, but they are not as dangerous as the mythical vampire... at least they wouldn't have been before the nano-plague, I'm thinking.

I think there are some species of bats that feed on the blood of livestock (the famous "vampire bat"), but they do so be nipping on the legs of the animals and sort of lick up the blood. I don't think they attack humans that often. Still, nano-plagues tend to do strange things to people.

And the way the human psyche reacts is weird too.

I liked how you did the fur of the arms of the batguy.

Thank you, Jade. I decided to draw each strand of individual fur and have them define the shape of the muscles. Whew, it was time consuming, to say the least.
