Another illustration from jjtaylor's bandom AU, "The Detective's Secret and the Mystery of the Dancing Flowers" (sequel to "Gerard Way's (Vampire) Detective Agency"). Frank in the greenhouse, taking care of the Red Repose Poppy based on the notes in Gerard's journal. It's a quiet, emotional moment in the story, so I've tried to bring that out ... also, all the tiny details and design flourishes were ridiculously fun to draw.

This was a little bit of a collaborative effort: the windows in the background were designed by my friend ataratah. <3
