Have some random Runaways fanart? I drew this for for the Yuletart exchange on livejournal. Which was much fun; hooray for fanart challenges and exchanges!I'm not really a Victor/Nico person, at all really, but they are rather picturesque, and that's what I was going for here. I am hugely intimidated by 's creative and spiffy costume/clothing designs . . . so of course I wound up only being inspired to do clothing designs.
NOT generally my strength, though I did okay here. (Nico's coat is a fancier version of the one I wear every day in this weather, actually.)I like how this turned out quite a bit, though the colors looked much better on my Dell (RIP). Nico's cheeks should be subtler.

I'm hoping maybe the upcoming hulu series will revive interest and get the Runaways back to having its own series again. I haven't been happy with about half the guest appearances they've been stuck with since 2009.

(Though you're right about the cheeks. On the other hand, I have images where things look fine on my computer, and on everyone else's, Az looks black. WTF is up with that? *sigh*)

Heh, I don't think I can claim to be a "Photoshop artist," really. People like that are all talented with the digital painting and effects . . . I'm just an oldschool traditional cartoonist who slaps on simple digital color occasionally. ^^ (And, y'know, can't scan or resize her poor b&w inks without th' damn program, either.)
